Used cot mattresses

My mother works in a orphanage. She really loves this job as she is a type of a person who really enjoys working with kids. She is nice and helpful to everybody and I think that most of the kids there love her as their own mother. I can say that she thinks all the time about the work and that she could not live without it as she is kind of addicted to it. She works hard and she works a lot but this gives her the energy and makes her happy and that is the most important thing. But some time ago she told me about what happened in the orphanage. They bought some cot mattresses from another orphanage. They were in need of cot mattresses but they could not afford new ones. That is why they bought used cot mattresses for the other orphanage. Well actually it is a normal thing and it would not be nothing unusual but some facts appeared after the cot mattresses were bought. It turned out that the cot mattresses were sold because the babies who were sleeping on theme all died from a strange disease. According to all the rules those cot mattresses should have been burned after the incident. But somebody wanted to make some money on that and that is why he sold those cot mattresses to the orphanage where my mother works. This shows clearly that people would do anything for money.
